These Terms of Use apply to the use of the YOUniverse regarding the use of the website https://enter.youniverse.berlin/ ("YOUniverse Website"). The personal names (e.g., participant) used herein in masculine form for purely language economics purposes include individuals of each sex (m / f / d).
The operator of YOUniverse is Universal Music GmbH, Mühlenstraße 25, 10243 Berlin ("Universal Music"; "we"). Imprint as well as information on security and privacy are available at: https://www.universal-music.de/rechtlichehinweise/sicherheit-und-datenschutz. The platform is aimed at users who are a legal resident in Germany, Austria or Switzerland, as well as in other European countries.
User is any natural person who enters the YOUniverse on the YOUniverse website ("Entering the YOUniverse") and thus uses the provided platform.
The YOUniverse can only be used if the user is 16 years old or has the consent of the legal guardian(s)/parent(s).
User can use the YOUniverse after agreeing to these Terms of Use and the YOUniverse Community Guidelines. Users can enter the browser-based YOUniverse via desktop. Smartphone or Tablet. No special hardware or software is required.
The decision as to which functions, contents and/or services are offered in the YOUniverse (individually and collectively referred to as "Contents") is made independently by Universal Music. The user has no right to access or use certain contents. This also applies if Universal Music has announced this content in advance.
The use of the YOUniverse is possible without opening an user account. Under certain circumstances, the user may be asked for some information (e.g. a user name). This information may be visible to other users.
It is possible for the user to participate in voice chats or audio conversation ("voice chat") with admins and/or hosts in the context of an event. To do so, the user must submit a request to open a voice chat to an admin/host of an event. Only after acceptance by the admin/host a voice chat can start. In this context, the YOUniverse Community Guidelines must be observed and complied with.
It is also possible for the user to communicate with other users via the chat function. By using the chat function, the user name is publicly visible. Here, too, the YOUniverse Community Guidelines must be observed and complied with.
All texts, images, graphics, sound recordings and/or videos displayed via the YOUniverse are subject to the protection of German copyright and other protective laws. Universal Music is exclusively entitled to all rights to the content provided. However, the user is allowed to download the selfie video and use it exclusively for non-commercial purposes on his social media.
Subject to compliance with these Terms of Use and the Guidelines (including our YOUniverse Community Guidelines), Universal Music grants User a limited, nonexclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable right to use the YOUniverse. Use is solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Universal Music may terminate or suspend User's use of YOUniverse at any time if Universal Music believes User is in violation of these Terms of Use and/or User is in violation of any policies (including the YOUniverse Community Guidelines) and/or if Universal Music deems it necessary to do so in order to comply with applicable laws.
The general use of the YOUniverse Website is free of charge for the User. However, Universal Music reserves the right to grant access to selected, exclusive events only if the User is in possession of a valid ticket. Separate terms and conditions will then apply to the purchase of Tickets.
These terms of use are subject to German law, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

We point out that we are not obliged to participate in a dispute resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration board and do not participate in a dispute resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration board.
